well, its nearly upon us, so lets look around for some ante post bets
Premier League
The one team that is surley on the up is Man City and the summer signings have stood out over and above the opposition strengthening in areas they needed to from last season
At 4/1 currently they appear to be the best bet in the winners market for me which i think is down to just 3 teams.

Next at the other end of the table, everyone expects the promoted sides to struggle and no doubt 2 of the 3 will go down however at 6/1 I feel i have found a great bet in Newcastle to fall back into the Championship. Like birmingham and West brom, they are now a yo yo club and in the last year have sold 3 of thier best players, Carroll, Nolan and now likely Barton. Pardew's record in the premier is not good and i doubt he will last the season.

onto the 1st manager to go and its that man Pardew i feel will not last out however its only a small bet as there are likely to be casualties within the 1st 2 months and those clubs who dont make a good start may have to look for a new boss. 14/1 is still worth a shout!

The top goalscorer market always gives a good run for its money and a couple of large prices attract me 40/1 on Spurs Van Der Vaart and 50/1 on Lampard for Chelsea. Both are pen takers and capable of 20 goals if they stay fit.

Very difficult this year and money normally talks, i like the look of Brighton having a fair go as the blitzed league one last season and in thier new stadium may be a force with 18000 cheering them on every home game. They have a very decent manager in Poyet.
